Requirement: In this post, I will describe the various steps that are required to install Oracle Database Express Edition (XE) Release 18.4.0.0.0 (18c) on the Windows 10 Operating System.

Solution: For installing Oracle Database Express Edition (XE) Release 18.4.0.0.0 (18c)  on the Windows 10 Operating System follow the steps as shown below:

Step 1: Download the Oracle Database software by clicking on the below link

https://www.oracle.com/database/technologies/xe-downloads.html

Click on the below highlighted link to download the Software.

Step 2: Click on setup.exe to launch the Oracle Database Installer.

Step 3: Click Next

Step 4: Accept the license agreement and click on Next

Step 5: Click Next

Step 6: Enter Database Password and Confirm Database Password. Then click on Next

Step 7: Click Install

Step 8: It might take some time to copy all the files as shown below.

Then in the same step it will start Creating Oracle XE Database as shown below. It will take some time.

And with that the Oracle Database Express Edition (XE) Release 18.4.0.0.0 (18c)  on the Windows 10 Operating System is completed.

Hence, the solution to our requirement.
