Requirement: I have an Oracle APEX page which has a button on it. When User clicks on the Button it opens another page inside a Modal Dialog on top of the main page.

By default the Height is set as 400, and the Width is not set. Now, possibly there will be some scenarios where we want to display the Reports/Grid inside the page of the Modal Dialog. Hence, in such cases, the default Modal Dialog window may not be sufficient to display the data in a proper readable way.

Thus, in such case we will simply increase the Width and Height of the page that we are going to display inside the Modal Dialog. And, this post describe how we can increase the Width and Height of the page inside the Modal Dialog.

Sample screen before increasing the Width and Height of the page is as below. Here the default Height is 400 and no Width defined

Sample screen after increasing the Width and Height of the page is as below. Here, the Height is set as 800 and Width is set as 1200.

Solution: For Solution of the above requirement, Select the Page or say click on the page. Then set the Width as 1200 and Height as 800 in Dialog properties of that page as it is shown below.

Save and run the application, and now we can see the size of the Modal Dialog is increased.

Hence, the solution to our requirement.
